The Queen Bee was a busy bee this weekend!!!

Well I did lots and lots of cutting this weekend...and my hands are a bit sore, but I have made some headway into my orders that I have to get complete. And well I did some Halloween appliques, and everything is looking so cute, I can't wait to finish.

I did steal a few hours and went with the family to the county fair on Saturday night, but my children did not want to behanve, and we had to leave. I thought we might get to catch a bit of the truck and tractor pull...what a county fair even...but nope they couldn't stop fighting over the toys we bought them. I suppose they are spoiled way too much---Quintin wanted the bubble gun, and then Briauna wanted the trumpet, but after we paid for everything, Quintin changed his mind and now wanted the trumput, and well Briauna still wanted the trumpet, so they seemed to fight over a trumput all over the fairgrounds, and well when they weren't fighting they were blowing the trumpet so I am not so sure which noise was more pleasant. Well the toys were taken away, after several threats, and well we gave up and left---oh the joys of raising toddlers!!! LOL, but we did have a good time what little time was there, and petted lots of animals, and well scared a few, and well was scared by even more...so I would still say it was a successful getaway, and well there is always next year!!!

I did get a chance to look into the craft tent, and saw the blue ribbons for sewing and children's clothes, and well I think my outfits are a little more creative, maybe I should try and enter or at least figure out how to enter. It could be fun, but I never did last long in 4H back when I was a little girl:).

Well I have a few sample sales going on, so take a look and grab a few deals, as I am trying to destash my stash, and well I still have lots more stash!!!

A little witchy!!!

Well I just had to try out this applique from Kathy of Pixiedust as it was just so cute, and it was a lot of fun to make. I had no vision when I started the design, but then I asked Miss B what she would like to go with the witch and she picked up the candy corn fabric, so that is when my witch Cornelia the Candy Corn came to life, and the vision of candy corn pedals. What a yummy outfit!!!

And well once Halloween is over, you can still wear this great outfit as I did a reverse side to the anna wrap, so pair it with some store bought jeans or cords and you can head out to the Pumpkin Patch!!!

And some more listings outthere for the Fairycakes Midnight launch!!!

I just love how this Jack set turned out and Quintin had such fun modelling. Well it isn't so hard for him to show a mean face, or well walking like a mummy:) But we had fun, and found a gorgeous church in downtown that was surrounded by a really old graveyard with gorgeous old headstones. The history that surrounds us is just amazing, and well everynow and then you have step back in time.

Oh my you get a three day weekend!!!

And you create!!! I have a lot of new listings up including some fun new feliz's...I finally had the time to cut a new pattern, and well this is so fun. I can pull together some of my favorite fabrics, and well mix them all together and create a super full dress. Briauna approved, and well after getting some red cowboy boots in the mail, we just had to go out and take some twirly pics!!! We were having hoedown throwdown fun!!! The pics turned out a bit blurry because of this hoedown but it was still fun, and I was able to capture a few good ones!!!

And some jewel tone fabrics...some of my favorite colors peridot and turquoise!!!

So with three of these new felizes cut out, I decided to add a bit of flare on one...well bat wings that is...and made the bat girl cape. I quite like this design and it was fun taking pictures...unfortunately I went a bit crazy on the fabrics and only used what I had in stock, so it will be a OOAK.

And well then I had to work on some New York Girl orders, it is never as fun to remake as it is to create, but I suppose you must learn to balance both to keep the business moving!!!

A Sunday with nothing to list...OH MY!!!

Well it seems like every week, I get to Sunday my first day back to work after my weekend, and I have a few things to list, as I was able to get out with my camera...well not so much today. I was busy this week running to the post office deliverying hundred or so packages of resells!!! YIKES, I think my daughter has too much clothing--- can there be too much with a mother that sews and shops!!! And I think I have warped my child's sense of seasons...at this time it is 90 some degrees outside and she is putting on jackets and long shirts and jeans to wear to school...after minutes of explaining that she will be hot and sweat all day I finally convince her that she needs to find a tank and shorts!! Could it be that I am already sewing in the midst of fall season and soon to be Christmas that she thinks it is cold outside...LOL... and then of course come winter time she is wanting to be in tank dresses and jeans!!!

Well I still have more to sell...I have yet to hit the boxes for Quintin's clothes, but those are not as big and then I have to go through everything and figure out if it is sellable as well he seems to be all boy and can't keep anything clean!!!

Well stayed tuned--- I have a few things I am working on in the sewing room, and finishing up my custom orders, so I should be back in the swing of listing designs in a few days....until then I will still be making trips to the post office trying to clear out the old...and well the post office keeps bringing us packages too so guess I am bringing in the new too!!!
