A day at the Beach!!!

Well, we decided to take the kids to Dad's old stomping grounds of Colonial Beach, and they had a super fun time...and they couldn't get over how fun the beach was, but then of course we needed to get out of the water, and decided to walk on the boardwalk, and well that wasn't as fun so we had to hear complaining the whole time that we needed to go back to the beach:) OH well it was a fun day, and well never to miss an opportunity, I took along my recent design that I actually finished a week or so ago, on Viking and Dragons and got some fun pics...

HGC Elizabeth

I just posted a SURPRISE design in the special cause and it started at 0.99 NR but I am happy to report several bids within the first hour so we are on our way to some great bidding!!!! A new design idea...Happy Horse and Little Red!!!

Well I always love make things reversable as I know how expensive boutique can be, so why not line with a different fabric so you can wear on either side, and then you can get another outfit!!! So it was not unusal when I finished my Oilily horse design that I had been working on for a month, as I was collecting fabrics and so forth....that I knew I had to add on more thing a top to match the reversable apron...so well Miss Red was born in a morning!!! So now the outfit has two cool looks...and well still great boutique wear!!!

I love this set and so does Miss B!!! Super fun theme with the mermaids and cupcakes...two of my favorite themes!!! And super comfy too with the knits...but the skirt is a load of work and a masterpiece, with applique aprons, and ruffles, and more ruffles on the back...super fun and perfect for the summer!!!

Hoo Rah--- for those Military fans by Kim!!!

Quintin loved this set, but didn't have the best of days for taking pics...first we went to the Capitol for pictures, and I forgot my camera battery so that was a bust. And then we had to try and get pics done this weekend, and it was cold and rainy...hard to tell from pics, but it was and he was getting cold, so for some pics the only expression I could get was MAD...and boy does he pull of mad;) Anyways, we just love this set by Kim...check it out HERE!!!

Serendipity Fabric Swap Launch--SB Play!!!

Well I just love participating in these launches, maybe it is because I have a sewing room full of fabric, and not enough time in the day to sew this fabric, so it is nice to ship it off to another designer and have them create an outfit and see their take on the fabrics I sent...so I got pair with Kim of Wifeandmotherofpilots... we ended up just swapping with each other. I got to design for her two sweet daughters, and then she got to design for Bri and Q!!!!
