Enchanted Forest....an awesome applique set!!!

Wow...I cannot tell you how many appliques are in this set, but I do love how it turned out, but it was certainly a work of love!!! I just love the colors and the fun theme, and well just think it turned out pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself...I designed this and with my rough draft I sent it over to Sophie and she made the super cool poly bead for the necklace and it is just perfect and oh so pretty, a great topper!!! And then I had already worked with April on the super cute owl set and hat, so I just added it to the outfit as well it turned out to be a perfect match, and well the owl set knit also goes with the jeans, so we have a few forest outfits for the fall!!! Perfect!!!

We were taking a walk yesterday before school, and the kids were having a blast as the leaves were falling around them and they were all excited to see the different colors. Quintin was sure there were blue leaves, and well in the world of applique there can be, but I was trying to explain the colors were red, yellow and orange, and more would be changing soon!!! Then down the lane, we found some red mulberry leaves and they looked pink to Briauna, so wow they even have pink leaves!!! So while sometimes we like to add color in our applique sets that are not always found in nature, it truly is amazing all the colors that do surround us in fall and how fun this weather can be!!!

Search Fairycakes on ebay to find these great items, plus all the other fun designs and well we are having a little bidding contest on all enchanted forest items, so each bid gets entered into a drawing for a free owl necklace from vincouture...so why not do some bidding, and get the opportunity to win two great items!!!

Blossom Street goes Wild.... And I added a little euro!!!

Well I am running out of time, as I am preparing for my vacation, it seems to be very hard to plan, super easy at work, but not so easy on ebay with orders coming in, so I am catching up and working on some launch items, and trying to get everything done so I will only have a few orders to work on when I return...or so I hope. So I snuck in this cute little dress when Monica bought one of my other Feliz's...I asked for Maddies favorite color combinations and I got pink...pink...pink...and a little euro too:) So I tried to challenge myself as I was looking through my fabrics and this is what I came up with...check it out on ebay along with the other BlossomSt wild listings!!!

Pennelope the Pumpkin Fairy Princess!!!

Oh I had fun with this little pumpkin princess...I just love the fall season and the way you can cozy up with the brisk air but yet it is still beautiful weather with beautiful scenery with the leaves changing colors, and of course as they fall those leaves get raked, and burned, and oh my, I love the smell of burning leaves:) As you drive with the car windows down, the aromas of all those fall smells are just so enticing, and well who doesn't love pies and this is pie season from apple to pumpkin to cherry, I love them all!!! Well maybe a little too much, so I best go running, but even running outside this time year is just the best, as it isn't too hot, and you can breathe as the air isn't so humid, and well it is just a good time to go run and enjoy the scenery so sign up for all those upcoming 5K or maybe you can handle the marathons but this is that time of year---and it seems as if fall has arrived. Check out this fun outfit with pumpkins, as I love to make a pumpkin outfit each year as we make our trek to the apple and pumpkin festivals!!! And maybe we will catch a hayride this year, as I don't think the kids have experienced a true hayride!!!

The Queen Bee was a busy bee this weekend!!!

Well I did lots and lots of cutting this weekend...and my hands are a bit sore, but I have made some headway into my orders that I have to get complete. And well I did some Halloween appliques, and everything is looking so cute, I can't wait to finish.

I did steal a few hours and went with the family to the county fair on Saturday night, but my children did not want to behanve, and we had to leave. I thought we might get to catch a bit of the truck and tractor pull...what a county fair even...but nope they couldn't stop fighting over the toys we bought them. I suppose they are spoiled way too much---Quintin wanted the bubble gun, and then Briauna wanted the trumpet, but after we paid for everything, Quintin changed his mind and now wanted the trumput, and well Briauna still wanted the trumpet, so they seemed to fight over a trumput all over the fairgrounds, and well when they weren't fighting they were blowing the trumpet so I am not so sure which noise was more pleasant. Well the toys were taken away, after several threats, and well we gave up and left---oh the joys of raising toddlers!!! LOL, but we did have a good time what little time was there, and petted lots of animals, and well scared a few, and well was scared by even more...so I would still say it was a successful getaway, and well there is always next year!!!

I did get a chance to look into the craft tent, and saw the blue ribbons for sewing and children's clothes, and well I think my outfits are a little more creative, maybe I should try and enter or at least figure out how to enter. It could be fun, but I never did last long in 4H back when I was a little girl:).

Well I have a few sample sales going on, so take a look and grab a few deals, as I am trying to destash my stash, and well I still have lots more stash!!!

A little witchy!!!

Well I just had to try out this applique from Kathy of Pixiedust as it was just so cute, and it was a lot of fun to make. I had no vision when I started the design, but then I asked Miss B what she would like to go with the witch and she picked up the candy corn fabric, so that is when my witch Cornelia the Candy Corn came to life, and the vision of candy corn pedals. What a yummy outfit!!!

And well once Halloween is over, you can still wear this great outfit as I did a reverse side to the anna wrap, so pair it with some store bought jeans or cords and you can head out to the Pumpkin Patch!!!

And some more listings outthere for the Fairycakes Midnight launch!!!

I just love how this Jack set turned out and Quintin had such fun modelling. Well it isn't so hard for him to show a mean face, or well walking like a mummy:) But we had fun, and found a gorgeous church in downtown that was surrounded by a really old graveyard with gorgeous old headstones. The history that surrounds us is just amazing, and well everynow and then you have step back in time.

Oh my you get a three day weekend!!!

And you create!!! I have a lot of new listings up including some fun new feliz's...I finally had the time to cut a new pattern, and well this is so fun. I can pull together some of my favorite fabrics, and well mix them all together and create a super full dress. Briauna approved, and well after getting some red cowboy boots in the mail, we just had to go out and take some twirly pics!!! We were having hoedown throwdown fun!!! The pics turned out a bit blurry because of this hoedown but it was still fun, and I was able to capture a few good ones!!!

And some jewel tone fabrics...some of my favorite colors peridot and turquoise!!!

So with three of these new felizes cut out, I decided to add a bit of flare on one...well bat wings that is...and made the bat girl cape. I quite like this design and it was fun taking pictures...unfortunately I went a bit crazy on the fabrics and only used what I had in stock, so it will be a OOAK.

And well then I had to work on some New York Girl orders, it is never as fun to remake as it is to create, but I suppose you must learn to balance both to keep the business moving!!!
